Febuuary/March 2008
Check out our website www.revelationministries.net for new pictures, sound clips from our new project and more...
Well Valentines Day has passed and we are heading into March. A rash of the flu or the more commonly known term "the CRUD" has all but taken over our health for the last several weeks. But I believe we are all pulling out now so do keep us in your prayers.
We have some projects planned for the coming year and beginning in March we start construction on a permanent studio for us to record in. Now for those of you who have ever been to a studio to record you know it's nice to have everything you need already set up and ready to record. Tentatively named "The Upper Room" we plan on a full week of construction onsite at Robbins Stables and hopefully by the end of the week, we'll be able to begin outfitting the studio from our old location. This will give us more room and take us away from the many distractions that seem to happen when you want to concentrate on the song at hand. Under the guidance and direction of Larry Blackwell (of 4B Farms), Kevin myself and a few others will put our hands to the saw and draw back hammers and hopefully create something we all can be proud of.
We've had some wonderful singings. We've been to the Light House Convention Center and had a wonderful time. Kevin took it upon himself to purchase and learn to play the steel guitar. To be perfectly honest, the boy ain't half bad. So perhaps you'll hear a little pickin' out of him this year. It's always good to see William and Debbie Driver and spend some time fellowshipping.
As for me, well the kids are great. Kyleigh is loving the bus trips. She stands on the couch and waves at all the cars going by. Kendall is A-B Honor Roll in the 5th grade and Joy's doing super at school. Ginger is a big help and I just want to thank her for the times she packs it all up to go and the times when she takes all the responsibility and stays so that I can go.
Keep us in your prayers until next time,
Revelation
