Greetings in the name of the Lord!
Welcome to our new website. Take a few minutes to
look around, enjoy some music and video footage.
Browse through our pictures from the past and
present, in other words, "Make Yourself at Home". We
felt it was time for a facelift and even though we
have grown a little older, the message is still as
new as it's always been. Our goal is to present
Jesus Christ in a new and exciting way to every
audience God places us in front of.
Who is Revelation? Many have asked, so now here is,
"The Rest of The Story".
The original
"Messengers" originated in Mt. Airy, North Carolina. Bob Hutchins
joined the group as their bass singer in the late 1970's. The group
disbanded and in 1992 were reformed with Kevin Robbins, Bob
Hutchins, Tonja Hutchins (Bob's daughter) and Steve Bertaux. The
Messengers Quartet, with these members, sang together until 2003.
Tonja Hutchins soon became Tonja Robbins and Bob Hutchins was called
to take his place in the greatest choir ever assembled. The end of
an era.
"Revelation" was then formed from the remaining members. No
matter where the doors are opened, in large or small churches, in
auditoriums or arenas, we strive to take our excitement, laughter,
praise and worship, combining them into an experience that will lift
the heart and encourage the one who needs it most.
After 14 years of dedicated service, Steve Bertaux decided to come
off the road and spend time with his young, and growing family. We
thank him for sharing his talent with Revelation. We wish him and
his family God’s best!
That brings us to the “old man” of the group, Warren Howard.
When Steve left, we were searching for a lead/baritone singer.
Warren practiced with Revelation for the first time in July and
decided to join the group. Warren was with the Nationaires Quartet
for 15 years and sang with Tonya’s dad, Bob, most of that time. He
spent a short time in secular music, but has now come back to his
“first love”, gospel music. Warren has known Kevin since Kevin was
17 years old, when Kevin played keyboard for the Nationaires. He has
known Tonya since she was about 10, so he says it is unique for him
to be able to sing with both of them now.
We owe a debt
of gratitude to those of you who support us with prayers,
encouragement and financial contributions. Without your
continued support Revelation would be extremely limited in
our outreach. We believe that great is your reward in Heaven
for what you do in helping us to build the Kingdom of God.
Thank you in the greatest sense of the word.
For the past
few years, Revelation has been so blessed being able to
minister in so many venues. Not only churches, auditoriums,
fund raisers and street festivals, we are blessed to be a
part of the Cowboys for Christ and the Cowboy Church
Network. These organizations have allowed us to minister to
the lost at horse and livestock functions, even while riding
our horses.
So climb on
board the bus or saddle up and join us on an exciting
journey as we follow to where -- only God knows.
May God Bless You, Revelation Ministries
